Don’t pray the novena to Our Lady, Undoer of Knots unless you are ready for change.

I don’t mean with regards to your petition. Each time I’ve prayed it, my request has been ignored. But oh, the truths Our Lady has uncovered otherwise.

She’s as masterful at untying knots as I am at tangling them.

Our Lady, Undoer of Knots

Our Layd, Undoer of Knots helps me uncover things about myself that truly need addressing.  Most of my cares and concerns are a direct result of my own vices.  When I bring those concerns before Our Lady, her prayers get to the heart of the issue.

I prayed for a new job for my husband.  I got a renewed sense of gratitude instead.

I prayed for an easier time with the kids.  I got a reduction of selfishness instead.

I prayed for success in my writing career.  I got opportunities for humility instead.

I prayed for an end to a difficult situation.  I got a big old dose of self awareness instead.

Our Lady knows which knots truly tie us down.  She will intercede for our release.

• Play knot tying games like cat’s cradle; discuss how the Lord works through the knots in our hearts

Family Prayer

Our Lady, Undoer of Knots, we so often tie ourselves up in sin and sadness.  Intercede for us, that we may be freed from the bonds of our transgressions. Amen.
